The International Staff Unit (ISU) is part of AAU’s Human Resources department, and our mission is to make your transition to life and work in Denmark as smooth as possible. From practical relocation advice to settling in and navigating Danish systems, we’re here for you - and for the departments that welcome international colleagues.

AAU +1 spouse and partner network

AAU+1 is a network aimed at the spouses and partners of all international staff members at AAU.

Getting Started Support

As soon as your arrival date in Denmark is confirmed, we encourage you to sign up for the ISU Getting Started Support. Once we receive your registration, we will contact you and guide you through your registration with the Danish authorities.
