
Recruitment of students
Here you will find information about which collective agreement the student should be employed under depending on the job function.

The following only applies to student recruitment
Students who are employed for administrative tasks such as filing, journalling, copying and various ad hoc tasks (within office work).
Students who are responsible for planning and preparing the start of studies on 1 September, coordinating the work of the fresher instructors, organising the fresher seminar, planning, coordinating and being responsible for the fresher trip, preparing welcome material (fresher coordinators and fresher planners).
Students who are hired for IT tasks are hired as IT employees.
Hiring students as IT employees on a monthly salary follows the procedure for other TAP hires.
Employment of students as hourly-paid IT employees follows the procedure for hourly-paid IT employees.
Students who are employed to perform practical tasks in study rooms, IT rooms, libraries, etc. to supervise collections, etc. or to maintain equipment, samples, etc. for use in teaching and research, etc.
Students who are employed in collaboration with other staff groups to carry out counselling tasks in relation to students and potential students. Counselling tasks include, as determined by the institution, guidance on student admissions, organisation of study programmes, employment opportunities, curriculum and exam rules, including exemptions, credit transfers, discontinuation of studies, special employment opportunities after graduation, and financial and social conditions in connection with the programme.
Students employed as tutors: Tasks include planning activities for new students, participating in tutor coordinator training, planning and participating in the fresher's trip and being responsible for guided tours at AAU.
Students who perform tasks that supplement teaching at the assistant professor, associate professor, professor or equivalent level.
Employment as an instructor and assistant teacher normally requires that the student has passed the first two years of a relevant bachelor's degree programme or equivalent level. Other students can be employed if the institution assesses that the student is academically qualified to fulfil the position.
Students who independently carry out teaching tasks or teaching that supplements teaching at assistant professor, associate professor or professor level or equivalent level.
Employment as a teaching assistant normally requires an academic level equivalent to master's level, which can also be achieved in other ways than through a master's degree. The institution assesses whether the applicant has the required professional qualifications to fulfil the position.
Students employed to manufacture, number, describe, assemble and maintain preparations for study collections etc. at the faculties of health sciences.
