At AAU, good leadership is essential. It is a prerequisite for us to continue to fulfil our ambitions as a mission-oriented university in a constantly changing world. Leadership is about creating coherence between AAU's strategy Knowledge for the World, the university's unique character, its core mission, and each individual employee. This requires us as leaders to stand together on this task – with a common understanding of what good leadership is at AAU and a common language for practising it. The future calls for us to embrace leading together at AAU. Therefore, the Executive Management has decided to launch a number of different initiatives to strengthen leadership development at AAU.
